What is the Certified Training Alliance (CTA)?
The CTA is an alliance of Apple Authorized Training Centers (AATCs) in the US who have joined together to promote the benefits of the high quality certified training courses offered at their locations.
When I register on this site am I registering with CTA or the individual training center?
You are registering with the individual training center. All registrations and financial transactions are between the registrant and the individual training center.
Can I pay by check or PO?
The CTA site is designed to handle credit card registrations. If you require a different form of payment, please specify when registering and the individual training center will contact you to make arrangements.
Are all CTA instructors certified by Apple?
Yes. Every Apple certified course is taught by a genuine Apple Certified Trainer (ACT).
How does a student become 'certified'?
Simple, just contact one of the AATCs on this site to schedule your exam. Certification Exams are offered at each of our facilities based on the courses we teach at that facility.
We recommend that you schedule your exam after completing the appropriate courses, but, if you already have the necessary course knowledge, you can schedule an exam without completing the suggested courses.
What is the cost for each exam?
Each exam costs $200.00
Are quantity discounts offered?
Please contact the AATC of your choice directly to discuss any possible quantity discounts.
Many of our members were among the very first class of AATCs from the pilot days of 2001 through the first instruction of Apple certified courses offered in 2002. Many of our trainers have been certified and have been teaching since the very first generation of Mac OS X classes. In other words, nobody has more experience delivering Apple certified training than CTA members.
